On Wednesday 17-MAR-04 we started off at the Villa Borghese. We don't have any really nice photos of this because it was mostly indoors but it was another beautiful stop on what turned out to be an entire route of beautiful places. We used our 2-hour allotment to drink in as much as we could with the help of those audio phones. Lots of useful info for the somewhat ignorant!
After this, we returned to the hotel and rested up before going shopping on the Via Corso. What a city for shopping--leather, scarves, shoes, foodstuffs, haute couture, religious articles (see a later day), biscotti, biscotti and more biscotti. One of Athena's personal favorites:-)
